Utility Communications

We provided system integration services for the FirstEnergy utility RTU system and programming per FirstEnergy standards. The scope of work included design, assembly, programming, and testing, as well as a short circuit and coordination study with arc flash hazard analysis from the utility intertie to the inverter input protective device. We also provided relay settings files for the NETA testing company to load and test the protective relays. Coordination with the local telephone company was performed and a grounding study on the solar grounding system was provided in order to complete the telephone company high voltage protections (HVP) form.
